Thanks to Pitchfork for posting the WORST picture ever taken of me, in their coverage of Siren Fest. I look like an old man from New Jersey fiddling in my underwear.
(Huh - not too far from the truth, if ya think about it...)
Ah well - anyway, whaddaya gonna do? It was a fun day, after all, so what do I have to complain about?

ADDENDUM: Wonderful - my good friends at Brooklyn Vegan have picked it up as well now. Yeesh. Ah, whatever. It's kind of funny, right? Right???

Oh - and for the record, I was living out of a suitcase for the week, and I WASHED that shirt on Friday - I didn't wear it! But even if I did - GET PUNK, KID!!

What else is goin' on?

Much much more to say - some confusing moments, some inspiring moments, but 2 things I want to make clear:
1. Inspiring, is the niche that this band has managed to carve out for themselves - they play their hearts out, with no frills, and their fans are rightfully devotional to them for what they give back.
2. Inspiring, is how they exceed their reputation as "nice guys" - it was truly a pleasure to, as Mr. Vedder put it, "Show up for work together every day."
